What Is AI Video Generation on Affiny?
Affiny’s video generation animates a still roleplay scene image into a short video. The companion’s portrait stays the visual identity anchor, so the animated scene remains consistent with how the companion looks in portraits and earlier scene images.
Two modes are live:
- Tease — lighter silent clips (Lite 480p or 720p; 5 or 8 seconds only)
- Desire — richer motion with optional audio (Standard 720p or Full HD 1080p; 2–15 seconds)
The feature runs on the same coin wallet as every other Affiny feature — no separate subscription or video-only paywall.
How Video Generation Works
Video generation is image-to-video: it starts from a generated in-chat roleplay scene image and produces a short animated clip from it.
- Generate a scene image first. In chat, use the camera icon to create a roleplay scene image (15 coins). The image establishes the composition, pose, and scene context.
- Choose video. Select the scene image and choose to animate it. The portrait is used as the identity reference so the companion stays recognizable.
- Pick mode, quality, and duration. Tease (silent; 5 or 8 sec) or Desire (optional audio; 2–15 sec).
- Generate. The video renders from the still frame, preserving the companion’s identity and the scene context.
On Desire, audio is an optional toggle at no extra coin cost. Tease clips are always silent.

What this means in practice: a 5-second Tease Lite clip costs 50 coins; a 5-second Desire Standard clip costs 150 coins; a 5-second Desire Full HD clip costs 250 coins. The 200 free coins on signup cover roughly 20 seconds of Tease Lite (480p) or about 6–13 seconds of Desire Standard (720p) before any purchase is needed.

Video vs Scene Image vs Portrait
These are three separate but connected visual features:
- Portrait generation creates the companion’s identity image at creation or in profile settings (30 coins initial; first regen free; 15 coins after).
- Scene image generation creates in-chat roleplay visuals during conversation (15 coins each).
- Video generation animates a generated scene image into a short clip — Tease (10–20 coins/sec) or Desire (30–50 coins/sec).
All three use the same portrait-anchored identity pipeline, so visual consistency carries across still and animated output.

Can I generate videos of any companion?
Any companion that has a portrait and at least one generated scene image can be animated. If the companion has no scene image yet, generate one in chat first.
How long can a generated video be?
Tease: 5 or 8 seconds only. Desire: 2–15 seconds per generation. Choose the duration that fits the moment you want to animate.
Does video generation support adult content?
Yes, on the same terms as scene images and chat: adult content between fictional adults is supported for authenticated users. God Mode can shape the context of the scene being visualized.
Is video generation included in the free signup coins?
The 200 free coins can be spent on video generation just like any other feature. At Tease Lite (10 coins/sec), 200 coins covers about 20 seconds of video. At Desire Standard (30 coins/sec), 200 coins covers about 6–13 seconds.
What happens if a video generation fails?
Coins are refunded if generation fails after deduction.
Can I save or reuse videos?
Generated videos are saved in the conversation’s scene library alongside the scene images they were created from, so you can return to them later or use them as a base for new scenes and videos.
